I think that karma must be true for justice to be a real thing. It's just that 'when' it pays out has been gotten all wrong with the idea of reincarnation. Karma does not need covered for by making up extra lives for it to be proven just. Some paid out today, some paid tomorrow, and then the great balance paid in eternity, that is what I believe. Oh yes our sins are forgiven, washed and forgotten by the great Christ, who paid a karmic debt of cosmic proportions, though not his own, but it is Jesus who could not stop talking about eternal rewards. Karma has two sides, pleasant and unpleasant deserts. The Christ took the one upon Himself, but does not seem to have taken the other, and in fact appears to have increased the payment for good by adding to it His own merit! This is only just dawning on me.
