For all you Helen Hollick fans, there is a movie in pre production based on Helen's book Harold the King. This looks like a good one! I added a link to the website http://www.1066themovie.biz/intro.htm

I didn't read the book, but I want to. I should break down and buy it....

I loved the book and I'm definitely interested in seeing the movie. Thanks for the head's up!

Thanks so much for this link.  I had no idea there was going to be a 1066 movie.  I love medieval history and now that I have been to Hastings, England and seen the site of the battle - I can die happy.

BTW, Parke Godwin (love his books) has done a very good version of the Harold story called Lord of Sunset - it is available here.  It's great that historical books are being made into movies, there's waay too much junk out there!

Cheers, Margaret
