This is an amazing book! I had already read Angel Animals: Exploring Our Spiritual Connection With Animals by the same authors Allen and Linda Anderson. I thought there was no book to surpass that one but Angel Dogs was a GREAT! It is made up of real life stories about everyday people and their dogs, exceptional dogs at that. My favorite ones int his book are Scooby Doo, the Great Dane who saves his family...Angel Eyes, an abused scruffy little stray who was rescued by a kind woman and adopted by a loving family, and Leaf, an amazing resilient, cocker spaniel. Keep a box of tissues close, you will need them!
