Good, but not great, romance novel. It's very tender & loving, with good characterizations, but I found it somewhat predictable. I'd give it 3.85 stars.

Great setting for this book I love historic Scotland when they were fighting for their independence from the English. That being said I have mixed feelings for this book. I love the characters and the plot but I had a hard time with how rushed it felt to me. The ending also left me puzzled and didn't feel like the author really drew a conclusion for this story.
