hmmm...lets see.  Tantalize is in my tbr list.  Wicked Lovely was okay, I like P.C. Cast if you are looking for a light, breezy read, and I  haven't read the other two but A Certain Slant of Light sounds good and City of Bones sounds totally rockin but the reviews on it are mixed.  I'll wait for the paperback on that one.

City of Bones wasn't all that great -- I listened to it on audio and it was a bit of a trial to get through it.   It's also highly controversial, in that the author started out writing online fan fiction and seems to have used a ton of her fan fic in this book, raising much talk about the limits of plagerism.  She had to change a few things in the book because she was violating Sherrilyn Kenyon's trademarks.  She had apparently been calling her demon hunters DarkHunters, and now she calls them ShadowHunters.

I haven't read any of her fan fic (I'm more into the real deals), but I can say that yowsers!  Yes, I did spend that entire book seeing places she pulled this idea from, and that idea from.  I mean, of course there are lots of similarities in books when you're dealing with a tightly defined sub-genre, but this came across as very piecemeal grabbing.  It was too bad too, because the few places where I didn't automatically think "oh, this came from so-and-so's books" were the best written.  Otherwise that was some of the purplest prose I've ever encountered!

So overall I'm not too impressed.  It's too bad -- she could have potential if she could just let go of the fan fic background and do her own stuff.

And as for the rest of that list -- I've heard good things about the first 3, and I have only read P. C. Cast's oldest stuff, but I  had fun with it.  She seems to have gotten fluffier as she became more mainstream, but it wasn't that far of a leap.  Don't know how her new YA series is that she wrote with Kirsten Cast, but it's on my WL!

I love her new YA series.  Or at least I've loved the first one in the series.  I've got the second one waiting in the wings as my next to read book.

I've read Wicked Lovely and A Certain Slant of Light and really enjoyed both of them.

Tantalize has a good premise, but the writing and story pretty much stink. Also, the ending kinda leaves you hanging. I didn't enjoy it and won't be reading anything else she writes.

Wicked Lovely was a book that I did enjoy, but the story was so not what I expected it to be. Don't go into it with expectations or you might be disappointed!

I've read almost all of P.C. Cast's books, but the only ones that I really enjoyed were the ones in her Goddess Summing Series. Her other books just weren't that great.

I read Wicked Lovely and really enjoyed it. I love anything with the Fae and I thought she did a really good job with it.   I look forward to reading her next one (I believe this is to be a series).

I've read Wicked Lovely and loved it. I also can't wait for the next book to come out. I have a City of Bones upstairs right now waiting to be read. I liked A Certain Slant of Light in the beginning at the end not so much. I might be weird but books with endings like that put in a mood. Like in the books 'The Summer of My German Soldier, Silver Kiss," There were a few others from that publisher that I had read and they had put me in a bad mood... Sorry for going off topic. :)
