I am looking to acquire some Gooseberry Patch cookbooks.  Condition is not important!!  I posted this in the Bazaar, but thought I would try here as well.

Has anyone used these cookbooks?? I read some reviews on amazon and some dont' have very highmarks. I tend to collect cookbooks and 'read' through them more than use them and I have several of these because I just honestly love thelooka nd feel of them and looking through them...wanting to try a few of the recipes but wondering if they're bland or taste good (in general-I know every cookbook has its hits and misses and some depend on  your personal taste/where you live, etc type influences).

I think the blue plate one is one of my faves and the one that set off my search for these!

I have a friend who collects them and loves the recipes in them.

thanks Diane! I love looking at them but haven't tried anything yet...my goal this next year is to use my cookbooks more! ok, use them more for cooking instead of reading pleasure!
