This author gives some great insight into why Apple Cider Vinegar (ACV) works in the 28 problems it is reputed to help. I thought the author's hints about using ACV for swelling in the hands and feet to be particularly good. She explained the various causes of edema (swelling) and warned that an excess of salt intake could be the culprit -- as well as a lack of potassium. Then, she suggests immersing the hands and/or feet in an ACV bath to absorb some potassium. This book isn't perfect but it stands shoulders above some that I've read recently.
