Another great book in this series. Loved it, but it did drag just a little bit in the middle. Pretty boy Arrow finally got paired up, and with someone who saw more than just a handsome face. It was nice to see most the Guard again, esp Hawk and his snarky humor. I love how Ms. McCarty's epilogues are ten years in the future, so we can see their family but not mess with the telling of the next Guard member. Now can we have Boyd "Strikers" book....please.
