Helpful Score: 3
The other two books have been building up to this one. Paige and Austin have been mentioned repeatedly and it is obvious that they have some kind of history together. I liked the previous two books, but I've really been looking forward to this one. I was concerned that I might be disappointed, but gratefully, I was not. Of the three brothers, I loved Austin the most. Plus, Paige was the smartest of the three. Maybe it is because I am a youngest child like both of them, but both of their characters were more easily liked than any of the others.

The story moved along at a good pace and I hated to put the book down when it was time for bed. The romance was a good build up and the story seemed plausible. I liked that the rustling storyline continued in this book, but it wasn't left hanging in the other books, so even had I not read this book, I would not have felt like I missed something.

This was a good ending for the three brothers, but I would love to read more about Blue River. There is so much more to the town and it would be nice to get to know more of the residents--especially Chief Brent Brogan (aka Denzel).

I recommend reading the first two books about Tate and Garrett before reading this one because it will enhance the story. I think the reader would still get into the story, but too many things are carried over from the previous two books.

A wonderful conclusion to the trilogy. This book can stand alone but it is best to have read Tate and Garrett first.
I liked Austin and Paige and loved the humor that was used to develop their relationship.
A must read.

And last but not least, it's the youngest brother's story. Austin has started getting severe back problems because of his hell-raising and bronco-busting cowboy ways. The doctor gives him a stern warning to just back off for a few months, or he'll live to regret it. So, Austin decides to come back to the Silver Spur ranch and his brothers, Garrett and Tate.

While the older brothers are dealing with the cattle rustlers, their fiancees are busy making plans for the double-wedding of the century in Blue River. Two of the McKettrick men are marrying two of the Remington girls, Julie and Libby. Questions are raised as to whether Austin and his former sweetheart, Paige, will be joining them...They were lovers during their high school years; however, the commitment had scared off Austin all those years ago. And it's clear that Paige hasn't forgiven him 10 years later.

A good book and finale to the trilogy.

I got this book yesterday, and finished it yesterday. It was not disappointing. The other books previous to this one really laid the ground work. I highly recommend this, but read the other two first, Tate and Garrett.

I wanted to like this book and Miller is one of my all time favorite authors, but this book was a snooze. The 1st of the McKettricks of Texas was really good, book 2 was ok, but it's like the author lost some steam when she got to this 3rd story of the baby brother of the bunch.

I expected to read more about Austin's rodeo career and to learn more about Paige's goals......but I got nothing. It was just page after page of who was picking up which siblings kids, what they were eating, and when was it time to go to bed. The 'mystery' of who was causing trouble on the ranch wasn't that well developed...more like an afterthought but it was a lot more interesting than the resurrected relationship between Austin & Paige.

I hate having to wait until March 2011 for another part to the Creed/McKittrick family story. Austin was a very enjoyable ending to the trilogy, tying up all the loose ends
that began back with Tate.

Linda Lael Miller's characters sizzle and make me wish there really were men like these
(although they probably don't hang up their towels either).

Good read, if you like the series, but I liked the first McKetrick series better, Luck, Pride & Heart.

Loved this whole series. The brothers are different, but very interesting in their own right. Great modern cowboy tale.

Ahhh..(sigh) This is a wonderful book to read Linda Lael Miller just takes romance to that point of wanting more and getting exactly what you looked for in the end. This is another must to read Austin makes your heart pound with his sexy cowboy ways and you'll love his 3 brothers and of course the rest of the family!
