I love M. Way and was so glad to receive this book. The characters were interesting and there was a forward moving plot; however, the hero lost points and the overall story credibility because the emotional wounds that are related are a key part of the story and the hero could have ended the problems/damage done to his sister in one move.

Instead he does nothing and she suffers for years. A Lynne Graham romantic hero would have solved the problem IMMEDIATELY.

Does this sound like a leading man? No!

The heroine is much more interesting than the little blurb on the book indicates. She's a young woman struggling to pay for med school. Not a debutant or a would-be debutant.

I gave this story three stars because of the above issues and the book struggles along and ends abruptly.

I think many other readers will enjoy it more than I did perhaps because I'm too critical and I don't care for romance novels w/25 yr old leading men.
