I enjoy this read quite well. I found the futuristic setting of human and aliens living amongst each other to be fascinating. Mia was a intense main-character, but I enjoyed that although she appeared rather feminine she is actually very tough. I actually related very much to her relationship with her parents, especially with her mother. Even though this relation between myself and the character Mia is of rather undesirable circumstance, it drew me in more as a reader. I found the fact that Mia turned out to be one of the past hybrid children resulting from her mother's experiments a great plot choice. I also see so much room for Mia and her story to continue. I would have liked to have seen more time invested development of the relationship between Mia and Kyrin. I was entertained throughout the book, and look forward to reading the next book in the Alien Huntress series.
