A cute and fun story, that can be used with the Raffi song or without it. We have never heard the song, and still loved it.

This is a book we read and sang to when I was in the 1st grade. The song is so cute and stays in your head for years. I got this book because now I have a daughter and I want to share all the songs and books from my childhood that stuck with me. Raffi is just the best and all of his books are worth getting!
Very good illustrations and cute book, but the wording doesn't necessarily rhyme when you read it. You definitely should buy the book with the CD so you can learn the rhythm of song.
One of my favorite songs as a kid & now I get to share it in book format with my son. :)
You can never go wrong with Raffi anything! My kinders love it!
I grew up listening to Raffi, and I was so excited to see that my favorite song was now in print to share with my daughter. It is a beautiful book! It has unique animals that kids won't see elsewhere (puffins and narwhals, for example), and even if you don't know the song, it's fun to read as is.
