A heartfelt lovely memoir. George Hodgman's writing is beautiful and funny. I could relate to George and his relationship with family. I grew to love them all! I don't even know how I ended up with this book so I didn't know anything about G. Hodgman. I wanted to know how his life was going since this was written. Then I was so sad to find out that he passed away in 2019, most likely a suicide. That actually felt personal to me; it broke my heart. Sorry if that was a spoiler in some way, don't let it stop you from reading this wonderful memoir.
