This book was WONDERFUL! Even though I have never owned a dog (or had one own me...only have a granddog), I laughed so much while reading this book that people kept looking at me like I was nuts! Dean Koontz books have always had my interest, I especially love to read the ones that have included dogs. There are always wonderful meanings and love included in each and every one. This one outdoes all of the others that I have read by this author(man). Not only do you read a wonderful story about a beautiful, loving, feeling dog, but you learn about the man and his special partner that became mommy and daddy to this special animal. What a gift this book is to those that pick it up. Well worth your time and money.

I have been a Dean Koontz fan since his first publication but never has he shown himself until, A BIG LITTLE LIFE! The copy I received from a member is the first book of any kind that I've recommended to my friends and family. That copy is now circulating among my family. I was a breeder, trainer and owner of dogs since the day I was born. Never has an author showed the
âhuman side,â of dogs than what Mr. Koontz did in this book. If you're an animal lover, no matter the critter you love, I encourage you to read this book but keep a box of tissues nearby:)
