Frio Wheeler ran cotton to the Mexicans in trade for arms for the Confederacy during America's Civil War. His best friend is on the Blue Bellies side and is trying to kill him. So is a homicidal maniac Mexican.
This is a really good Civil War yarn with good amount of action and suspense.
