This book is a light, fun read. From Celtic pirates to female pirates of Asia, this book has it all. It's a provocative read considering these women rose to positions of power during heavliy patriarchal periods of history. This is a great gift book or a book for any woman doubting her entry into a typically male dominated field. Hey, if women can be pirates then we can be just anything!
