What a fantastic writer! I find it so intersting to see into the lives of others and Paul Monette gives a fascinating veiw into the last 19 months of his lover's fight with aids. I could not put the book down. Full of the anguish of not being able to obtain the newest of treatment, all the while dealing with the denial and then acceptance of a loss loved one. I shed tears at the end.
