1. These are recipes from Methodist women of East Tennessee. The book probably came out in the 1990s, but Im not sure. Many favorites are included from this part of the country---Sausage Balls, Angel Biscuits, Carrot Cake, Pumpkin Roll, Peach Cobbler, and Southern Fried Chicken. Also, some not-so-typical recipes---Bran Refrigerator Cinnamon Rolls, Gooey Brownies, Rhubarb Custard Pie, Chowder From the Sea, and Chicken Tamale Pie.
