Do any of you do the Box of Books?  I have never done it and was looking into it. Let me know what your thoughts are.

Thanks, Lori

Lori, I do.  I like it alot.  Its a way to trade books with another member without using your credits.  I also like BOB because it lets you rate the trade, thereby allowing you to see if a member you are thinking of trading with is a good or bad trader.  Feel free to PM me if you have any more questions.

I like bob.  it's been a great way to check out different  books without the use of credits.  I have been declined by a few offers(and I have also declined a few) but you jsut have to realize that sometimes there may not be books on your shelf that the other person is interested in getting.

I was thinking about doing BOB. But I need to send out books and curb the purchasing of books for a while. Gotta a move coming up or I would be interested.

I am on my 2nd year of BOB membership and enjoy it quite a bit.  I've been burned about 6-8 times with non-receipt of books and the sender not responding to PMs.  But overall, I still think BOB is a positive as it lets you try books you might normally not spend a credit on and saves tremendously on postage.

Thanks again to everyone who answered my questions. I must let all of you know that if you have not tried the Box of Books (BOB). You should!!!!!!   I started it on 9/24 and have already been asked for 7 boxes. some are for 2 books and one is up to 12 books.  I have been shipping them and even with the delivery conf. and the packaging  I am still only spending about $4.00 or less.  So I now have lots of new books on the way to me with a small $ amount invested.  Cheeper than credits and faster than waiting for your books to be asked for.

Just my thoughts.  Thanks everyone and if youare a boxer you will hear from me soon I am sure!

Lori - its a great way to get LOTS of books because the weight of 12 isn't much different than sending out 3 or 4 books individually, and you get a lot more books!   Way cheaper than credits and lots of postage.

Sherri

PS - thanks for the BOB request!

I find new authors a lot this way. I've been a member for a couple years and haven't been burned at all, of course I have had a couple not make it to their destination but at least one person I think stopped using the site. :(

I just wandered down here to the romance section, but I had to put my 2 sense in, I love BOB!!! It is so worth the price you pay.
