Well researched and well written. Careful attention is given to the information of families of the victims. While reading this book I was shocked to learn the connections this murderer/pedophile may have to other unsolved cases in Northern California. This is one of those rare true crime books that you would read again.

This is not light reading. It deals with the murder of a young boy and even the outcome will not be satisfying for some. BUT, if you enjoy true life detective stories this is a great one for you. Pretty well written and interesting - exceptionally well researched book.

I found this to be a well written book. The story is compelling and I traded sleep in exchange for finishing this book. I grew up in the town in which this story begins and do to this book, I will never look at the crime scene locations the same again. Wrenching, worth a read, but not for the faint of heart.
