Author: Katie Couric
"As a mother watching her two children grow, I am sometimes reminded of difficult lessons from my own childhood...that as loving and wonderful as they are, children can sometimes be cruel. Kindness can be taught, and perhaps we can all do a better job helping our children learn about tolerance and inclusion." - Katie Couric

This book is about a new kid in school named Lazlo and everybody hates him because he is different and he ends up having no friends. But when a curious girl trys to befriend him she reaizes that being different doesn't mean that you are a bad person.

The story is rather short but it is a great tale about friendship and how tough it can be if you are a new kid.
