This is a classic feminist text. A critique of the second wave feminist movement from the perspective of many different women of color feminists, it made visible women of color feminisms of the moment, and set the stage for the third wave feminist movement. I'm particularly fond of Cherrie Moraga's pieces in this book, but it is full of compelling essays, narratives, and poems.
