Copyrighted in 1985- still the Cold War era. Shot down in USSR territory after delivering your atomic bomb load- a surprisingly accurate tale of surviving against staggering odds. A flag-waver of a book, exciting, and very good reading.

An entertaining story of a bomber crew trying to make it home after being downed over Russia-- who they just nuked. A fun, fast read. The characters are likeable, heroic, and human. It could easily have been fleshed out to become a thousand page epic, but is a good read the way it is.
