This is a very funny book. It involves a Japanese Bobtail cat who is rescued from a fire and the trials of women who are actors and involved in the theatre in a town in England. It seems everything goes wrong that could go wrong, even a murder or two. All of the ladies stay in a flat owned by one and get into hilarious situations.
