Chain of Evidence Author:Ridley Pearson Police sergeant Joe "Dart" Dartelli can't even tell at first that the bodies have been murdered. They all look like suicides or accidents--except for a rare chemical in the blood of each. Even more terrifying to Dart is that the victims seem to be related to the long-ago murder of Lucky Zeller, the only man believed to be more brilliant at under... more »standing the art of forensics than Dart himself. Could Zeller be behind the murders?« less
A intense, heart-pounding story of student versus mentor in the playing field of forensic investigation. Ridley Pearson links computer technology, psychological intensity, and complex questions of police and human ethics to create this breathlessly paced, unputdownable thriller.
Ridley Pearson is definitely my favorite mystery/thriller writer. This book got my attention right from the beginning but the second half had me sitting on the edge of my seat and I stayed up way too late too many nights because I did not want to put it down. This is a serial killer novel that speaks to reader's hearts evan as it jangles their nerves. I highly recommend this book to anyone who likes this genre.
