I don't often give a book five whole stars, but this deserves the honor. I just finished reading it last night, avidly. This novel tells more truth about loss, about love, about consequences, about well-intended but mistaken motivations, than any non-fiction book on the subject. This book evoked powerful emotions in me, and I won't soon forget the story.
