This book is very well written. It reminded me of many reasons why I had decided to homeschool long before I had a child. It also helped give me the words to explain what I have felt for a long time.

This book answers the questions: Why is home schooling better than conventional schooling? Am I qualified? What about socialization? Is it legal? How do I get started? It describes the different reasons and methods of home schooling. I am a veteran home schooler and I enjoyed it too. I enjoyed the chapter on Delight-Directed learning.
