Personal life

Christopher Robin Nicole was born on 7 December 1930 in Georgetown, in the British Guiana, where he raised. His education included: the Queen's College in Guyana; the Harrison College in Barbados; and he was fellow by the Canadian Bankers Association.

On 8 May 1982, Christopher married the writer Diana Bachmann. With two sons and two daughters, he lives in Guernsey, Channel Islands, United Kingdom.

Writing career

Christopher Nicole has been published since 1957, he also wrote under several pseudonyms, some of there female, that includes: Peter Grange, Andrew York, Robin Cade, Mark Logan, Christina Nicholson, Alison York, Leslie Arlen, Robin Nicholson, C.R. Nicholson, Daniel Adams, Simon McKay, Caroline Gray and Alan Savage. He wrote disaster thrillers in collaboration with his wife, Diana Bachmann, under the penname Max Marlow.

A romantic and passionate of history, he also wrote a non-fiction book about the West Indies. Her first books were set in his native Caribbean, and later he wrote many historical novels set mostly in tumultuous periods like World War I, World War II and the Cold War. He has won international acclaim for his work, that depict places like Europe, Asia and Africa. He also wrote classic romance novels.

A best-selling author, he has worked with many of the most important British and international publishing houses: Jarrolds, Hutchinson, Simon & Schuster, Coward-McCann & Geoghegan, Jove, Michael Joseph, Mills & Boon, and Severn House. He continues to write into the 21st century with no intention of retiring.
