A compilation of a NY Times series on Class, this book does a great job of capturing numerous voices on the issue of "class" in America. A great book for Sociology, political science, liberal arts students and any others interested in issues of class.

I never thought about class in the way the authors present it before reading this book. It's much more than what you earn or your education level. I used to live in Santa Fe. Because of the influx of celebrities and millionaires, many of the "natives" can't afford to live in the homes their families have had for generations because of taxes. It's really an eye-opener.
