This book is very authentic, translated straight from the Greek. Each myth has at least one telling by a classical Greek author, such as Ovid, Homer, or Virgil. It's very extensive, but the tellings are not always consistent with each other (e.g. there could be five tellings with five different views). I have enjoyed this book.
