This is a taut and suspenseful story with a couple so damaged by the past that it will take a miracle for them to find Lauren and heal their own wounds. Erickson keeps the story tight and the tension in overdrive, resulting in a satisfying conclusion.

Great book! The first one that I've read by Erickson. Must read! Ashley and Chris search for Ashley's daughter, Lauren, who has been kidnapped. You'll be surprised who the kidnapper is too..
