This is an interesting story of a princess who wants to sample plain everyday life ... and the unusual archaeologist she meets. He has his own interesting family story. They're both not being fully honest with each other about their lineage and almost lose the one they love.

I am a HUGE Nora Roberts Fan! This was a light read and continues the story of Cordina's Royal Family.

"Cordina's Crown Jewel, " part of the Cordina's Royal Family miniseries, marks Roberts's 100th title with Harlequin and Silhouette. This brand-new story features Princess Camilla de Cordina, who runs away, assumes a new identity, and begins working for archaeologist Delaney Caine. But as her irritation towards Delaney grows into desire, she knows she'll soon have to reveal her true identity.

From the back cover: For a few blessed weeks, Her Royal Highness Camilla de Cordina could be just plan Camilla MacGee. And working for Delaney Caine in Vermont's backwoods offered a perfect refuge from the press. But as her irritation toward the cantakerous archaeologist grew into facination-then desire-the royal runaway knew she'd soon have to reveal herself.
Del had never needed anyone, and at first he accepted Camilla's presence only grudgingly. But, as the remarkable beauty insinuated herself into Del's self-sufficient life, he found that she filled an emptiness he'd never known was there. Only, what was Camilla hiding?
