I just made my 13 year old son read this and coincidentally we found him a "summer job" working for relatives. This book explains a perspective on work that is much needed in todays young men and helps them to understand the importance of work and anticipate the obstacles to their work such as the chapters on discouragement, vision, finishing your task, being rude, initiative, confidence and much more. The reason why I mentioned that our son has some form of work coupled with reading this book is that I think if a young man reads this book without practicing some actual work, it will not be instilled and engraved in his heart and life. So take this book, give him some work and watch a young man emerge! I highly recommend it.
