These dippy delinquents are at it again. This volume, they are trying (again) to have a field trip. This time via train to Kyoto and the shrines. Leave it to the Cromartie hoods to find a way to mess up even such a simple trip.
The usual suspects all appear here, and there are enough hoodlum hijinks and mayhem present to bestow the usual chuckles. As if the story wasn't funny enough, even the author's notes about his bid to win a rival publishing company's manga award is hilarious. Eiji Nonaka isn't even published by Shugakugan Publishing (so not even eligible), yet is quite dismayed when he fails to win their annual manga award.
This series just has me consistently chuckling aloud to myself when I'm reading it. It makes me want to share it with everyone, but unless you are familiar with the characters, it's hard to explain just what's so darn funny. So, I'll share the best way I can - I recommend you read this series!
