I had no idea this book would be so good. This true accounting of the research done by two ecologists in the Kalahari desert and what they learn and how they interact with lions, jackals and hyenas is a page turner. You've heard the expression "stranger than fiction". This fits that description. I am usually a fan more of fiction than fact, but this book is better than fiction.
