Great young adult Christian fiction. Would be a good read for any student considering studying marine biology.
2 teenage "yanks" are in Australia with their family while their dad is at work on a business project. Since they are home-schooled due to following dad around the world, they are free to explore the local environs. Due to their skill at scuba diving, the local police call on them to help with a rescue when their own scuba team is away at a training exercise. The search and rescue escapade starts them on an adventure to discover the truth behind the curse that supposedly has caused so many tragedies on Durgan's Reef.

I met the author while on the PBS cruise in FEB 2012.
