This book is the 20th of the series and to date none have disappointed. The old American government has recognized the Rebel held territories as being a separate country called the "Southern United States of America". To the chagrin of the liberals in Virginia {Washington was one of the few cities hit by the bombs that opened this series), several provinces in Canada join the SUSA so that they too can have a society based on law and order.
The SUSA is recognized by what is left of the UN and must go to fight again...this time against all the punks and gangs who are controlling most of Europe.

Recommended. FYI, I am continuing on to read the next one...the series must be good?

This held my attention from beginning to end. As usual he is a tremendous writer with lots of imagination and a lot of research.
