- Wonderful story! 1-Nighter for me!

- This is Book 1 of a new series, "The Widows Club"!

- I was a bit confused in the beginning (and I can't believe I didn't figure out the ending before I arrived there) but it was very well done!

- I can't wait for Book 2! =)

Interesting storyline; well-developed characters; witty reparte; even a little unexpected twist in the plot. This one was a cut above the average Regency romance. I even enjoyed the author's notes. Try it; you'll like it!

Totally enjoyed this book! The main characters were well developed. Interesting plot line and subplots running throughout. The first chapter was a bit of a whirlwind, but the rest of the book goes at a more normal pace. Make sure you have lots of time as this will keep your attention.

I agree with the reviews that said this one was better than the second one. It had better dialogue, side characters that actually added to the story, and less self-pity over all. I also felt more for the characters.

The two books have very similar plots. Girl is seen as less than boy so she sacrifices by staying away from boy for his own good. Boy gives half-hearted proposal to her and when rejected seeks out the proper girl to marry. I am hoping Graces story will have something different.

Overall, very easy read. Pretty enjoyable.
