This is really a cut above average for the thriller/police procedural mystery genre. It is the story of a cunning pair of serial killers who kidnap victims and hold them for ransom in the storm drains beneath Los Angeles. The two heroes of the book are very likable characters and the villians are scary and convincing. Great book, now I'm out to find more by this author.
