Not sure what genre this is suppose to be, I'd say a cozy mystery? because it sure not a suspense/thriller
I give Baker a lot of credit for the research and help she had on the train information but at times it was too much to keep up with
Baker drifted off too many times into family drama instead of moving the murder storyline along a little faster and making it a little more suspenseful
Too many pages of just descriptions--what they were wearing, what color everything is, what kind of shoes they wear, and the weather is wintertime but we're reminded of that on nearly every page, just not necessary but if you take all that out then the book would only be about 150 pages
It's an okay read for a rainy day and I'll try the next one and see if Baker can make Kate into a more interesting sheriff
