I am not the least bit interested in sports, but this series featuring Myron Bolitar, sports rep. is terrific. This one went to new heights. Myron is licking his emotional wounds after a break up when an old flame pops into his life - one he does not want to deal with. His agency is going downhill and he can't get himself interested. He's in a funk and does not want another complication - translated female - to stir things up - even when she pleads for him to help her find a bone marrow match who's disappeared for her son who will die if she can't find a match. Her ex-husband happens to be the one who put the hit out on Myron which caused an injury that ruined his career in pro basketball. Then he finds out the boy is his son, conceived the night before she married the other guy. Myron sets off to find this guy and gets wrapped up with a serial killer, a disgraced reporter, a power family who wants Myron off their backs because of a secret they're keeping and the FBI. Of course there are his people who have his back - Wynn and Esperaza and a few kookie characters. Lots of twists here.

Myron gets hit with the heavy stuff. A son he didn't know about, his father's health taking a turn and of course, a crazy killer focused on death and destruction. Another winner of the series. 4 plus stars!
