One of a series about Bonnie Indermill. Bonnie is a 30-something single woman in New York City who does various kinds of office work--managing a lawyer's office, temping, etc. Bonnie tells the stories in first person, and she reminds me a bit of Grafton's Kinsey Milhone (not quite as complex as Kinsey and Bonnie is an amateur, not a p.i.). Berry does a great job of portraying office politics, relationships between women working together, etc. with a lot of humor. If you've ever worked in an office, you'll recognize many of her characters!

First time to read this author. Part of a Bonnie Indermill series. Fun read, nothing heavy. Was fairly to see where the author was going in solving the death of the difficult woman, but not what the outcome (who dunnit) would be.
