Interesting detailed study of the nature and behavior of tigers and deers in the Kanha park area of India in the 1960s. Graphic descriptions of movement, hunting, feeding, mating, raising cubs, methods of communication including sound and gestures. About half the book focuses in hoofed animals, 1/4 on the tiger (the most interesting!)
