What exactly does "arrival at pickup point" mean? That is the last entry for a book enroute to me. I live in a house and do not have a PO box. Out street does not have any "communal mailboxes" that some areas have. Does this mean I will never get my book? What should I do? |

I don't know but there are many things the post office does that are mysterious. I just found out recently that in some cases a mail carrier will not leave the post office on their route with all the mail they will deliver that day. Some times a separate vehicle will drive to a place on a carrier's route and leave bundles of mail in a metal box and the carrier will later arrive at the box and open it and take out the bundles and deliver that mail. I guess these are really big routes. |

I've noticed this or similar scans for packages that begin with one carrier (say UPS) and are delivered by a different carrier (say USPS). Amazon shipped this way for awhile but haven't seen it lately. |
