Don Brown is an author well known for writing military books that allow the reader to plunge right in. Destiny is a prequel to the Navy Justice series and I found it to be somewhat different. I actually had a hard time getting started but once I was enveloped in the story, I couldn't tear myself away. This is a very vivid story that paints pictures you will never be able to get out of your head. In my mind I can still see the Jewish Rabbi's daughter on the ground bleeding as the temple goes up in flames outside the house. It is that real as you read this book. I love how he intertwined all the characters together and we see how the choices we make mold our lives and the consequences that arise afterwards. Another thrilling novel from Don Brown!!
