In her sequel to "Diary of a Manhattan Call Girl", Quan continues the story of Nancy Chan, now married and still working. Nancy struggles to juggle the demands of her professional life and keeping her marriage intact. Meanwhile, friends and family seems on the verge of revealing her secret. Can she keep both her lives separate? For how long?

A fast read, but not for everyone. Worth a read if you enjoyed Quan's first but, but be warned it's not nearly as entertaining.

I couldn't stand the woman the book was about in the first book, and I could stand her even less in the second book. In fact, I'm not sure why I even bothered to read it. I gave this book 1 1/2 stars because the character is one of the most unlikable characters I've read in a long, long time. She gets a rush from cheating on her husband, and sees nothing wrong with it. That's just one reason why she is so unlikable.

It is what it is - a quick read of a titilating (haha sorry) nature. Whether it is better or worse than the first - i have no idea. I am not a Diary of Call Girl connoisseur. But it was fun. You will like it.

I didn't find this book quite as good as the first - Diary of a Manhattan Call Girl, but it was still an enjoyable read.
