Tom Chapman and Jackson Zalco head to the Canadian Rockies to try and find an alleged king's ransom in gold. Then a quirk of fate sends the two of them back in time nearly 100 years. They find themselves in 1902 in the mining town of Frank. Soon they meet a lady photographer and a saloon singer turned bank robber. Zelda and Leona were two ladies far ahead of their time. Neither of them had any idea that they could find happiness with a man from a far-off era. Tom and Jackson wish to escape the past since they are familiar with the history of the area and know that on April 29, 1903 the town of Frank would be destroyed when Turtle Mountain crumbled and slide into the valley below. As much as Tom and Jackson wish to return to their own era, they are reluctant to give up the women they love. Soon the time comes when the two couples must make the hardest choices of their lives- choices that would make their passion either an intimate reality or nothing more than a distant echo.
I lived the early part of my live just 30 miles from where the town of Frank use to stand and "Frank's Slide" is a well known Canadian historical site. This book does a very good job of staying true to the facts of that event while weaving a modern tale of adventure and love. This was a fun quick read.

One of my favorite time-travel authors! This book tells the tale of two modern-day treasure hunters and what happens when they get tossed back nearly one hundred years into the past.

Time travel, modern men, Tom Chapman and Jackson Zalco, go back about a hundred years, and meet Zelda Ralston and Leona Day. Choices of becoming couples, staying in the past or going to the futer? Love, is what's important
