This series of stories were more of the harsh kind, not thought provoking. Too much detailed sex for me, particularly the kind that seems to assume that male satisfaction is all there is to sex. The violence was too much in love with itself. There were a few nuggets but not enough for me to keep the book. I ended up scanning and then skipping my way to the end.
Not creepy, not scary, just disturbing.
