I just received another request for a book I mailed out on March 2nd and which the first member requesting already acknowledged receipt. Since PBS doesn't allow us to post a book twice---at the same time---with the same ISBN, it's not like I did that.

Anyone else have this happen to them?  This is a first for me.

Ive had that happen probably 6 times in recent years. When I share what happened, I'm told ' no way could that happen'........well........

A member just requested a book which I knew I had, but which I couldn't find it in my Bookshelf piles. Instead I found it on my TBR list. Somehow---another PBS upgrade  glitch?--- it was posted on my Bookshelf too.

If you received that book via a swap it should be on your bookshelf but under the "not posted" category.  Once you read it and want to send it on, you should be able to check it off and move it to 'posted'.   Sounds like multiple glitches are going on!

Jeanne, yes it was listed on my Bookshelf. But it should have been marked hold, as are many others there, which is standard procedure. Obviously, this book wasn't marked "hold" by the system.

I just ordered a book, and received the 'can't send this book' email.  The reason the person gave was 'book was already requested by another member'.

First time this has ever happened when I've requested a book.

Yep, Sherry, that has been happening to several of us at least. 

I like PBS, except for those times I don't.

Last night I started reading "Duplicate Death " by Georgette Heyer. It's been on my TBR for a while. This morning I received a message stating a member has mailed me "Duplicate Death " as I requested.  Huh?

When was it PBS stopped associating titles? I know it's been a while. I've learned, when a book on my WL is offered and accepted, to check the WL and put any others on hold PBS didn't. But sometimes I forget.  Grrrrrrrr. Oh, well.

UPDATE: Checking my WL I found another book I already had.

Thomas, I know as far back as January 2020 the links weren't  being made for us.  That's why many books you WL will say 'no other editions' when it's not true. 

And books disappearing from TBR list. Recd book last NOV so it was in my TBR list.....read  it so went to give it a rating and then post to a friend.  Totally missing from my TBR but I know it was there recently cause I added a 'note' to remind myself to send it to that friend. 

I've had requests for books that I've already mailed happen several times.  Another glitch.
