This is one of Marco and Cato's best adventures yet. I almost could not put it down. If you are interested in this period of history you'll enjoy it. Plus, Scarrow managed to link into the story the Jew Jehoshua, who was crucified by the Romans, and his mother Miriam. This adds a religious overtone to the novel. And there is also the usual corruption and intrigue among the Romans.
